Just a simple Carolina gal wanting to share the beauty of art flowing from my heart and hand to yours in hopes that at least for a moment you will have peace.

Formerly a poet...guess I will always have the soul of a poet even when not actively writing.

I began my art journey in 2023 as an acrylic pouring artist before utilizing a variety of tools to make abstract impressions of landscapes and nature that I love. I paint strictly based on spiritual intuition in the moment. I'm a late bloomer in the art world, but it is never too late and better late than never.

What inspires you?
My inspiration....Mother Nature...she never disappoints or ceases to amaze.

What is your favorite medium/what are your favorite materials and techniques to work with?
Acrylic is my favorite medium. Materials: 2 inch household brush, small square artist holy sponge, my fingers, qtips, toothpicks techniques...dab, stroke, and blend

Where does your work usually begin, with an image, a feeling, a question?
Sometimes with a title first, a vibe from a photo, colors I'm feeling for the day

How does living here influence your work, if it does?
Living in a coastal town with an abundance of marsh lands, beaches, and greenery, herons and other birds certainly has had its influence in my art.

What do you hope people feel or think when they see your work?
Peace

What do you think your art says about who you are?
spiritual impressionist of our beautiful earth

Has someone’s reaction to your work ever surprised you?
I'm intrigued by what draws people to different pieces and what makes them want that one piece over the others. There are pieces that I thought were not all that and headed to Goodwill, and then someone loved and wanted that piece over the others and were willing to pay and drive a distance to get it.

What would you like to make next, if you could create anything you wanted?
That one piece that reaches the eyes of many and makes a lasting imprint long after I'm gone.
